Sam Bernstein Relocates Headquarters to REDICO’s Woodlands Officecentre.

Well-known in the Detroit area, The Sam Bernstein Law Firm has made a short move across the street from their former offices on the Northwestern Highway corridor to their new home at REDICO’s Woodlands Officecentre.

Having employees spread out in three locations inside their previous building, the firm sought to bring its entire staff together in one suite, leasing 45,822 square feet of space at the three-story Woodlands. The Bernstein team invested in tenant improvements, renovating the entire footprint of the third floor. A buildout from a shell condition presented the opportunity to design and construct a functional and attractive space in the Class A building, which includes a cafe area, full-service fitness center with Peloton bikes, secured underground parking, meeting rooms and outdoor space.

“We partnered with the Bernstein team to create an interactive space that appeals to clients and provides comfort and a sense of belonging for the firm’s employees,” said REDICO President and CEO, Dale Watchowski. “Now the team enjoys a stunning, state-of-the-art workplace designed for collaboration and productivity. We are proud to have played a role in bringing this vision to life.”

REDICO and Bernstein began working together on a lease at Woodlands in Fall 2023 and signed May 2024. It was an aggressive schedule for their occupancy by November 2024. The REDICO team designed the space, and the PCI-Dailey Company did the tenant improvement work.

“After looking at several buildings as potential sites for the future of our firm, we chose REDICO because they understand our needs. Bringing our team of professionals together in one space allows us to best serve the clients who depend on us to help them fight and win in their cases,” said Mark Bernstein, Co-CEO of The Sam Bernstein Law Firm. “This is the right place for our team to collaborate in an environment that supports their best work and provides a comfortable, inviting space for our clients to meet with their attorneys.”

Along with the excitement of Bernstein relocating to Woodlands Office Center, three other new tenants will be moving in during 2025, creating further buzz in the building. Amentum Technology, Fishbeck and The Healing Haven, Behavioral Health & Autism Therapy Services —will be part of the Woodlands Officecenter in 2025, pushing occupancy to 95% in the 235,000 square foot building.
